WHY BOTHER?

We spend our lives
Searching for the perfect person
Eventually we find that person
They kiss each other
They spend time together
Days go by
Weeks pass
After months with each other
One of them leaves...
The other one behind
With that person goes the other's soul
Fears of never seeing that person again
Heart ripped out
Feelings of never finding love again
Why bother even going on...
The search for true love?
There's no sense in it
That is all there really is to say
