MOMMY & BABY

An innocent smile on a daughter's face
Noticing how beautiful she is
Then you give her a kiss
The skin on her is so soft
You glide across her skin with your palm
'Cause a mommy's touch makes her calm
One day you realize how big she's gotten
Learning to crawl
First steps are small
Eating food by herself
Playing alone with a favorite toy
That brings her such joy
Sometimes she's a trouble maker
Everyone loves her so much
Given hugs a bunch
With her little arms around your neck
She tugs at your heart
As if you were hit by a dart
From Cupid's golden bow
When she said "Ma Ma"
You knew that she learned from the words "Ba Ba"
Since you were with her everyday
While you work she's on your mind
'Cause you're loving, protective, and kind
Next you know she goes to school
And beginning her first friendship
Years later, she goes into a relationship
But she'll always be your baby girl
And she'll always love her Mommy
