THE GIFT YOU GIVE

You brighten the darkness
When it hovers over me
The love that you show
And you see the part of me
That no one else sees
Or cares to see
Friendship spans the universe
But ours goes beyond that
We go to a place of our own
Which no one can enter
As long as we are together
If we do part
Our world will go in half
Once we find each other again
The little world of ours
Comes into a circle
Representing the caring within us
Never to part again
